Guy: Access and ESOL student

Guy, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, started college with no clear idea of what path he wanted to take.

With guidance from a tutor, he started a course that he found challenging as his first language is French.  With lots of hard work, Guy’s English improved. He chose to pursue a pathway leading to a degree in Criminology. He has plans for the way he can contribute to society by working with young people.

Guy already has a masters in marketing but he was keen to adapt to life in England.

I have to respond to the needs of the country I am living in…

When I look at myself, I am so proud.
